Check out what our Instructors say about working for STEM-U"I recently graduated from Ohio State as a middle childhood education major with areas of concentration in math and science. Mathematically, I always thought that I had an understanding of how math works and approaches that could be used to teach it. However, it wasn’t until I was introduced to STEM-U, that I realized that some of my strategies, ideas, and perspectives on math were not as developed as I had hoped. STEM-U introduced me to curriculum, approaches to teaching, activities, and tools that could help my students achieve at a high level. Seeing how students are able to problem-solve and critically think at any age helped me change my perspective on how I approach the classroom, activities, and math in general. I have a firm belief that if it were not for STEM-U and my co-workers here, I would not have landed the teaching position I have in today." -- Brendan Walsh Assistant Center DirectorSTEM-U is looking for highly motivated, well qualified Assistant Center Director to assist the center with instructional, sales, and administrative tasks required to run the center efficiently.
